Thoys' Club Opening Night

Tonight not only marked the opening of the new Starting Island, it also marked the opening night of the hottest danceclub in Cloud Party!  Yes, that's right, tonight was the opening night of Thoys' Club, owned and operated by Thijs Wenker.  Here are some shots of the action on the dancefloor:

I was present when the switched from the old Beginner Zone to the new one (now called Starting Island), and I must say that Cloud Party has really, REALLY outdone themselves this time.  Roman architecture and Danish furniture.  Windmills and waterfalls.  A medieval orrery hanging over a central meeting dome.  Swinging bridges and red park benches.  Rows of stately trees.  Sculptures and an artistic fountain.

Words cannot do this new Beginner Zone justice, so photos will have to suffice.  Lucky for you, I've taken lots of them!  Remember to click on any photo to enlarge it for better viewing.

Real Burger has finally released on the Marketplace his two flying vehicles.  The excellent physics of Cloud Party make for a flying experience that is a pure joy, unlike some other virtual worlds we could name *COUGH*Secondlife*COUGH*

Gangnam Style!

Hendrik of HENimations has an early lead on cornering the market for quality avatar animations.  Not only has he released the first male and female AOs (animation overrides), he has been busy releasing four-packs of dances!  Here I am, dancing Gangnam Style at the Beginner Zone of Cloud Party!  I am using TechSmith's SnagIt video capture software which results in a much smoother video than with Jing.
